Qualifying Workshop 2016

Qualifying Workshop 2016 – ICMA Australia Qualifying Workshop was held at the Kingsbury Hotel in February 2016 for the senior finance and non-finance professionals from top corporates aspiring to be members of ICMA Australia. The two modules on Strategic cost management and Strategic business analysis was covered within full seven days of lectures, case studies, management games, in-class activities and presentations. This was followed by cocktails at the Winchester Room.

Session on Emotional Intelligence

An evening session on “Emotional Intelligence” by Charlotte Riaz, a renowned Psychotherapist from UK was held on 25th September 2013 at The Kingsbury Colombo. Charlotte Riaz spoke on developing ‘emotional intelligence’ – the idea that addressing our innate emotional needs lead to healthy working relationships and effective organizations.

Session on Profit management with corporate responsibility

ICMA Sri Lanka branch hosted a professional forum on “Profit management with corporate responsibility” in June 2013 at the Winchester hall, The Kingsbury, Colombo, facilitated by Vice President of A. P. Moller Maersk Group of Companies, Denmark and head of group Internal Audit, Mr Chintaka Jayaweera. The forum was well received by the participants who expressed their thanks and gratitude for organising the event.
